Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to store information. They are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency, and provide information to site operators.

2. What cookies we use

Market Cross uses essential cookies only. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. We do not use any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

Cookies used by Market Cross

connect.sid Keeps you signed in to your account. Contains an encrypted session identifier. 1 year Essential
_csrf Protects your account from cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. Ensures form submissions come from Market Cross. Session Essential

3. No tracking cookies

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking service. We do not track your browsing activity across websites. We do not build advertising profiles. Your activity on Market Cross stays on Market Cross.

We use Rybitt, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we self-host on our own servers. Rybitt is entirely cookieless — it does not set any cookies on your device and does not collect personal data or IP addresses. It provides us with aggregate page-view statistics only. For full details, see section 8 of our Privacy Policy.

4. No third-party cookies

We do not allow any third parties to place cookies on your device through our Service. All cookies on Market Cross are first-party cookies set by us. Our analytics tool (Rybitt) is self-hosted on our own infrastructure and does not set any cookies.

5. How to manage cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually find these in the "Settings", "Preferences", or "Privacy" section of your browser.

Please note that if you block or delete our essential cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in to Market Cross and some features may not work as expected.

6. Changes to this policy

If we introduce any new cookies, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
